What is the ideal team in Pokemon Ruby?

A team of six Pokemon that don't have too many weaknesses and have many strengths usually it would be a team of legendary Pokemon.

Here are my suggestions. These also are non Legendaries, Ubers, or Kanto/Johto Pokemon, for the most part. They can easily be found in the wild or given to you.

1. Your Starter (Fire, Water, or Grass), plus...

2 and 3. Wailord (if you chose Torchic or Treecko), and Camerupt (if you chose Treecko or Mudkip), and Manectric (if you chose Torchic or Mudkip).

4. Gardevoir or Alakazam(Psychic).

5. Slaking (Normal) (if you chose Torchic or Treecko) or Breloom (Grass) (if you chose Mudkip).

6. Flygon (Dragon) (if you chose Torchic or Treecko) or Salamence (Dragon) (if you chose Mudkip).

So, your team would look like one of these three:

- Blaziken, Wailord, Manectric, Gardevoir, Slaking, Flygon.

- Sceptile, Wailord, Camerupt, Gardevoir, Slaking, Flygon.

- Swampert, Camerupt, Manectric, Gardevoir, Breloom, Salamence.

They cover Fire, Fighting, Water, Electric, Psychic, Normal, Dragon, Ground, and Flying type Pokemon.

You can also substitute one of these in with Ninjask (Bug), Shedinja (Ghost), Absol (Dark), Altaria (Flying), Whiscash (Ground), or Milotic(Water), if you can get a Feebas, that is.
