Harry Potter's internal conflict is battling with his place in the wizarding world. When he begins to hear voices shortly before all of the attacks, Harry starts to wonder. He becomes even more worried when he learns he can speak to snakes, something Salazar Slytherin was famous for, and when the Sorting Hat once again tells him he would have been good in Slytherin house.

Harry is also battling with the possibility of Hogwarts closing down which would see him sent back to the Dursleys.

Harry and Lord Voldemort try to kill each other, which is NOT very nice.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are many different conflicts between the characters in Harry Potter; there is so many Ive wrote some of the reasons for the conflict:

1) Power- Many of the murders, ect, take place so that people can have more power over one another.

2) Vengeance- Many of the things that happened, such as Harry hunting Voldermort down and Percival atacking some muggle boys were for revenge.

3) Fright- Voldermort was scared of Dumbledore, scared of a wizard that had similar amounts of power and strength, he was scared that Dumbledore might stop him or take his power or prevent his army from increasing.

4) Love- it was love for his daugher that Percival attacked the muggles, love for Lily that made Snape become spy for Dumbledore, love for his friends that made Harry throw himself infront of Voldermort's wand and repicate his mother's protective charm, to protec people from harm.

There are a few conflicts in the Harry Potter story. The main conflict is whether one is destined for something, or if they can choose who they are. Another conflict is bigotry about pure blood and so-called mudbloods.

The internal conflict is that Harry has to remain calm, focus on the tournament and ignore all the rumours being thrown at him by the wizarding world, including his best friend Ron Weasley, that he deliberately entered the tournament, that he loves fame, that he is an attention seeker etc.
