Gaping Gill, a significant cave located in the Yorkshire Dales, attracts approximately 10,000 to 15,000 visitors each year. The number can vary depending on weather conditions and access, as the cave is only open for public visits during certain times, primarily during the summer months. Its impressive underground waterfall and unique geological features draw adventure seekers and caving enthusiasts alike.

Gaping Gill is a large pothole cave located in Yorkshire, England. It was formed through a combination of the erosive power of underground rivers, chemical weathering from the acidic water, and the dissolution of the limestone rock over millions of years. The cave system continues to be shaped by the flow of water and the geological processes within the limestone bedrock.

The highest unbroken waterfall in Britain is in the Gaping Gill cave system in the main chamber where Fell Beck plunges 100M (330ft) unbroken to the floor of the chamber.
In no special order, and I am British: Carlsbad Caverns (USA) Lascaux Cave (France) Gaping Gill (Great Britain) Ah, you said 3 famous ones, so I'll stop there! :-)
Lovely question! I don't know about "everyone" but I suspect far more people with an appropriately free-wheeling imagination do than they might like to admit! I do, sometimes, but not in my 'Artex' ceilings. My favourite is a shallow bas-relief "face" in the entrance shaft wall of a famous cave called Gaping Gill, in NW England. It's merely irregularities and their shadows in the surface of a thick bed of limestone, but from certain angles looks slightly like a carved face tilted upwards. I've pointed it out to quite a number of people: some see it, some don't - and those who don't probably think I'm a bit dotty. Gaping Gill is in a hill called Ingleborough, companion to another, Pen-y-Ghent, whose long profile seen from near Gaping Gill makes me think of a proud, crouching cat - a stylised ceremonial lion even. So you're by no means alone... but as for your second question, WHY? No reason - just harmless tricks of one's imagination, and it would be a dull world without such tricks!
In most fish species, the number of times the mouth opens and closes is unrelated to the number of times the gill covers move. The two movements serve different functions: the mouth is used for feeding and respiration, while the gill covers are specifically involved in respiration. These movements are controlled by different mechanisms in the fish.

The gills move after every they open their mouth to intake water. Gill rakers, located along the anterior margin of the gill arch, strain water that is passed ove the gills and exchange the water for gasses (oxygen and carbon dioxide).
