It is the place where you catch Rotom, an Electric/Ghost-Type Pokémon. Just visit the Old Chateau between the hours of 8pm and 4am with the Elite 4 beaten, then go into the room with TV. Examine the TV, and when it asks you a question, say yes, and Rotom will pop out of the TV at Lv. 15. If you want to catch it, a Dusk Ball is recommended since it triples your chances of catching during the night or in caves. You do not need to do any crazy stuff like running around the mansion while pressing A on statues, just examine the TV at night.
You also find an item called "Old Gateau" which heals all the status problems of a Pokémon.

∙ 12y agothe "legendary" Pokemon in the old chateau is about semi legendary and is called rotom and you can get rotom by going into one of the rooms with the t.v. and at nightime talk to the t.v. and rotom should come out, but first get the National Dex.

∙ 12y agoYou can get rotom by looking iin it's tv, and if you have a fire red in the gba slot you can catch gengar in the room with a painting if you have any Pokemon emerald ruby Sapphire fire red leaf green in the gba slot
