The tone changes throughout the story. Sometimes the tone is intense.**SPOILERS ALERT** Like when they are about to blow the cannon and the tributes are all standing on their plates in the arena. Sometimes it's happy. When Katniss tells Gale she wants to run away and he embraces her. But it can also be sad.
