Stone
As with any fine gemstone the quality of the stone is what goes in to play when determining the value of a stone. What also has to be determined is if the stone is natural or lab created and if the stone has been heat treated to enrish the color. Ruby, by far, has more value than that of a sapphire. The stone in its' natural state is more rare than sapphire. A true red, that is a blood red ruby with out flaws is rare and very valuable once it has been determined that the stone has not been heat treated. Sapphires are available in many colors and some of the more rare colors can have more value than the blue. Green, yellow, pink, white. Medium rich to light blue sapphires have more value than the darker more common sapphires.
Not much, if it is in really good shape, it could be worth about $5 US. There are a few that have some real value. A US Early Reader's edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is worth about $1,800.
Probably not much as the book was initially released only in paperback form. It wouldn't have been published in hardcover for quite a while - but which point there would already be several printings of the paperback. However, if it is in good condition or is signed then to the right person it could be worth some money.

The elders are the greatest value in China. They believe that the oldest person in their family has the highest status. They also honor and respect them.
First this stone is spelled "sapphire", which is a precious stone. Your ring is not gold if it is stamped 925. 925 is the mark for silver. If your ring is marked 925 and gold in color it is gold plated, which brings no value to the ring besides the value of the silver weight and of course the stones. Unfortunately high quality gemstones are not usually put in a silver setting, unless you are dealing with a high end designer (whose mark would be on the ring). China is the country where your ring was manufactured.
How much is the Eschenbach design of china worth?
I don't know the value of your items, but I can tell you how to find out. For items like china there are books that show the current market value of items. These books are called secondary market value books. The secondary market is a little like the stock market because of value of items go up and down depending on demand on the collectible market. To get your items value go to a large bookstore find the collectible book isle and you'll see books for china. Look up the name of your company in the book and on the bottom of your china is a hallmark ( this is important to know) compare your hallmark to the ones shown in the book. The hallmark will give the years made and how sometimes how many were made. Along side this is usually a listing of the pieces china with current prices for what that item is selling for. This price is not set in stone, but it will give you an approximate value of your china. Now, you have the base value so if you take your china to a antique store you will know if an offer to buy your items is too low or about right. Look on EBay too this will often give you what people are paying today.
