What is the work environment like for actors?

If you enter a movie/play you will probably rehearse everday-every other day.Your work environment will vary depending on wether want to be and actress for film or plays, in film you will be on a set and so that's most likely in a building; but sometimes you have to go to an on location place, and if its like plays and the Broadway thing you'll most likely be in the theatre working on the production everyday up until the day of.

There work environment is usually being under stress about finding their next job. An actor's work is short. It can be from 1 day to a couple of months. Where a movie is being made they sometimes need to act in bad weather or while wearing an uncomfortable costume. Work hours for actors are long and is sometimes unfair. It doesn't matter if it is a holiday they would still have to work. Only a little of the actors work the full time they are suppose to. The people who work in theatres may travel across the country. Actors in a movie also travel far. Acting conditions change a lot depending on where the performance is. The hours can be long and the work is tiring or boring to some of the actors. However, there work environment is usually warm, safe, and comfortable and the hours may be short during performance times. Being an actor isn't always boring sometimes it can be fun but no matter what being an actor is difficult.
