August. Because it's hotter than h**l down here! But if you're looking for cheap, it's a good time because there is so little demand (particularly after the middle of the month once kids have gone back to school).

I regret to say that most people visit Florida in July and August, (during summer vacation) when the weather is very hot and humid. A better time to visit is during the winter months, when the weather is less hot and humid. Of course, people with children are limited by when the kids can take off from school.

DO NOT plan on going to Disney around the 4th of July or Christmas/New Year's. These weeks the parks are generally filled to capacity and you will not be able to enjoy yourself.
