Saroj Jha Jharkhandi, a poet (Gazalkar) and a social activist, known for his sweet and loving ghazals,like ' bewajah muskurate ho, pagal ho kya'. Although he has written a ghazal criticizing the corruption and dirty politics of the government i.e., 'Tere vaadon ka asar' and this true bitterness in the taste of his sweetness also made them very popular. Shri Jha was born to Late. Ram Kumar Jha and Mrs. Bijo Devi on 15 December 1976 in Mahinam, a small village in Darbhanga, Bihar, but later settled with his father in Bhurkunda, a small town in Ramgarh, Jharkhand. Mr. Jha did his early education in a government school in Bhurkunda, and from Bhurkunda High School, he finished his tenth examination with first rank. Then, he studied 12 from JM College in Bhurkunda and later did his graduation (MA) from Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh. Jha ji was also interested in sports, that is why he has won many awards in sports as well, he is also a black belt in karate, even he traveled from Bhurkunda to Delhi and Karnatkataka for Sadbhavana Yatra. His interest in literature increased during college, and while exhibiting his writing arts, he won a college award for his poem 'Aaj Ka Bihar'. While looking for a job, Mr. Jha made his debut in journalism and it is the result of his tireless hard work that he has been made the chairman of 'Jharkhand Journalist Forum'. Due to his passion for writing, Mr. Jha used to write new ghazals and many poets attended the conference too. His ghazal 'Bewajah muskurate Ho Pagal Ho Kya' got a lot of love and became very popular. His love for literature made him go to every corner of the country, and wherever he goes, he becomes popular. Due to awareness and activism of literature, he has been made the General Minister of Rashtriy Kavi Sangam, Jharkhand Province.To express his love for his state and his identity, he has given his surname 'Jharkhandi'.
