There were several odd occurrences the day Lord Voldemort disappeared.
Muggles noticed shooting stars throughout the UK and flocks of owls travelling by day. Vernon Dursley also saw a cat, that stayed outside his house all day, reading a map and saw lots of people in strange cloaks in town. He also heard some of these people whispering some things abiut the Potter's and their son Harry.

∙ 6y agoWhen Voldemort disappeared, the wizarding world was celebrating so much that the muggles began to notice odd little things. Such as owls flying during the day, people dressed in cloaks all over town and fireworks throughout the UK.
