The movie was awesome but in the movie it did not really show the violence like the book discribed. And catniss in the movie got the pin in the hob and not from that girl. But over all I prefer the book. I hope when catching fire comes out (and yes it has Been clarified that in November 2013 it is coming out) it will incorporate more of the violence unlike hunger games.
