Lucille Ball was a great animal lover, and owned many pets throughout her life. Her first pet was a little fox terrier she got when she was a teenager. She named him Whooppee, and doted over him. In her marriage to Desi Arnaz, Lucille owned many dogs and cats. There are many famous pictures of her roaming Desilu Ranch with her two beloved cocker spaniels. Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball are also famous for owning several of the Schipperke breed.
