I don't believe there is an orange apricorn.
In Pokémon SoulSilver, the orange apricorn can be found in the Ilex Forest. Specifically, it is located near the entrance of the forest, close to the tree where you can find the apricorn. To collect it, simply approach the tree and press "A" to shake it and obtain the apricorn.

there is no Pokemon orange
The only games based on the Orange Island and it's "Pokemon" League is Pokemon Crystal. It's a spin-off of the legendary GS Ball, which is said to have held Celebi. Pokemon Gold, Silver, HeartGold and SoulSilver has a small portion of it. HeartGold and SoulSilver has the League. The Orange Islands are not really a part of the Johto region. It's been noted that there are islands and areas undiscovered that unlock badges. The Pokemon Developers had said that most of Gary's badges were uncovered from up north of Tohjo Falls with Kanto and Johto and right of that region. The Orange Islands are based of the many islands below Tohjo Falls. The region has been called the Orange Region, because of the sandiness. They have planned on creating a New Pokemon Game based off on those three regions called Pokemon SpiritCrystal. It's release is undecided, but it will come soon, after Pokemon X and Y is finished. More about Pokemon SpiritCrystal: The main difference is that you'll have 3 sets of the usual 8 badges and if you unlock all 24 badges, the GS Ball from Professor Ivy, which Professor Oak will unlock, will turn into Celebi. The Celebi will be used at Tohjo Falls to fight Giovanni, when you go back in time. Some other exclusives to the game is that you can unlock the Indigo League, but the developers have mention that the Indigo League will consist of level 95-100 pokemons. Also, Tracey Sketchit will have "drawings" for Professor Oak that will unlock the Pokemon Mansion (Located at Cinnabar Island) and will allow you to capture Mew. Yes, that's right. It will allow you to capture the legendary Mew. The developers have not mention anything about "events" triggering Tracey or anything to unlock the Pokemon Mansion.
