The stories linked to Dracula primarily stem from Bram Stoker's 1897 novel "Dracula," which introduced Count Dracula, a centuries-old vampire from Transylvania. This work inspired numerous adaptations in literature, film, and theater, including iconic portrayals by actors like Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee. The character is often associated with themes of seduction, immortality, and the clash between modernity and ancient superstition. Additionally, the historical figure Vlad the Impaler, a 15th-century prince known for his brutal reign, is frequently cited as an inspiration for Stoker's Dracula.

The organ song commonly associated with Dracula is "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach. Bram Stoker's Dracula, I believe, was the first vampire novel published, in 1897. Vampire stories go back long before Stoker's book.

Dracula's castle is often associated with Bran Castle, located in Romania near Bran and the city of Brașov. Although it is linked to the Dracula legend and Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure who inspired Bram Stoker's fictional Count Dracula, there is no definitive evidence that Stoker had Bran Castle in mind. The castle is a popular tourist attraction due to its dramatic architecture and connection to the Dracula myth.
