Professor Quirrell. The Philosophers stone offers eternal life for he who possesses it and so to be in possession of the stone means living forever. Professor Quirrell was sharing his body with Lord Voldemort at the time meaning Voldemort would live for all eternity meaning he could take over the world.

Rubeus Hagrid provided Fluffy, the Devil's Snare was by Professor Sprout, the flying keys by Professor Flitwick, the Chess set by Professor McGongall, the troll by Professor Quirrell, logic puzzle by Professor Snape and the Mirror of Erised by Albus Dumbledore.
