They are not really suppose to crack, but some people say it is suppose to crack. If it cracks it will look like a paint chip but it is going to be deep. If the bat get cracked it compresses the composite inside of it more together. The fibers all inside the bat get tighter and close together and will make the bat either explode with pop or snap in half.
