What type of gun did Tom Cruise use in knight and day?

He actually used 3 guns throughout the movie. His sidearm was the H&K USP 9mm, (He fired 15 shots during the club scene between reloads) but he killed the man in the jazz club with a Ruger Mk III ( silenced ). The last gun which he stole from the DOJ security guard was a Smith & Wesson M4505.

Update: The USP round count between reloads in the club scene is uncertain because of a cutscene mid-firing. I counted anywhere between 14-17 rounds. It is a movie and the director is probably not too worried about the reload count. DVD commentary says it is a USP .45, but his main weapon was an H&K USP.

Note: The gun Tom Cruise used was DEFINITELY a USP in 45ACP. The gun holds 12+1 and Cruise fired 13 rounds before reloading. Three of the shots during the club scene (from the prone position) were shown/ heard twice for dramatic effect. This duplication is what is causing the discrepancy among fans of the movie. Trust me- it was a 45 caliber USP.

On disc 2, in the "City of Night" featurette, there's the training scenes of Tom Cruise and Mick Gould. If you pause the video as soon as you see Cruise on the shooting range and go forward a little piece at a time, you will see what looks alot like a belt slide holster on his right hip. The make and model of the holster has evaded me for months now, but there are several that look very similar and function in the same way. Galco JAK Slide Belt Holster - closest one i could find Belt Slide Holster from Sportsman's Guide - not as close, but still close if you're trying to cop the look, get a black holster and make sure the belt will pass through the loops on the outside of the holster. It creates a look that i can only describe as "an upside down triangle over a rectangle" I am purchasing one of each to tyr out for CCW of my SIG226R

This is actually a Fobus Holster. It is not a Galco JAK. It is also a Fobus Mag pouch that Tom Cruise uses.
