If you're asking about "how" as in what methods, that would be that she got a single idea in her mind, elaborated on it and wrote it down when she got home (I got this from her website).
If you're asking about "how" as in what materials she used, that would be pen, paper and finally, typing.
If you're asking about "how" as in what genre, that would be adventure/fantasy
And finally, if you're asking about "how" as in "I don't know how anyone could write such an amazing book", the answer would be that she is a very talented woman. :)
