All three attended the ( funeral) of Superman when it was thought he was dying from Kryptonian Leprosy- Supergirl saved the day by getting a chunk of White Kryptonite- which can destroy all plant life ( hey, ought to cut the Pentagon in on this- like White Phosphorous- the stuff worked- the fungus was burned off and Superman back in action! By the way this series occured only I Action comics- no hint of him dying or even being ill in the Superman main comic book- circa l968 I remember it well. Defoliant saved Superman.
