It's a big question so I will start from the beginning. Growing up, Oswald had been abused my his mother many times (and his father was dead), so he got out of his house as soon as possible. That's when he joined the marines, and came to be a crack shot at a sniper rifle. When his platoon went to the U.S.S.R., he found found that he liked Communism and Marxism, so he ditched the marines and hung out in Russia for a while. He then became so attracted to Marxism he tried to do everything he could to stand out and help Castro. He was sadly turned down and unnoticed by everyone, so he packed up and went back to the US with his newly wedded wife, Marina (whom he later abused. In the States, he tried to hand out fliers and spread the word about Marxism, yet he was obviously turned down and even arrested for doing so. Mad now, his next move was to assassinate Edwin Walker, a retired military general. Yet after he took the shot and drove away, he didn't even realize that he missed Walker by about an inch. After he ended up finding out he did miss, Oswald was just upset. His wife not liking him, no one interested in what he had to say, he was actually on the verge of suicide, until he heard about the president coming to Dallas. As a final way to stand out, Oswald went to his work building, walked to the 6th floor, aimed, and shot.
