In 1986 she began working on her 'comeback' sitcom Life With Lucy with Gale Gordon, Gary Morton, and Aaron Spelling. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled after just 8 episodes. This led Lucille into a deep depression as she worked hard in order to get back her comeback show.
