Nelson an amazing number of no less than TEN siblings- seven brothers, one of whom was also called Horatio, two called Edmund, George, Suckling, Maurice and William. He also had three sisters called Susannah, Ann and Catherine. Of these, the other Horatio, one of the Edmunds and George died in infancy, and Ann, the other Edmund and Suckling died when only in their 20's. Only Susannah, Maurice, William and Catherine made it into fully adult life apart from Lord Nelson himself, but their occupations are not easy to research- however, William (who died in 1835 aged 77) is buried alongside his famous brother in St.Paul's Cathedral, so he himself must have been pretty notable in his own right.
