Although Farnsworth is often credited with the invention of the television, he was beaten by John Logie Baird who demonstrated his first working television in March 1925. Farnsworth made his demonstration in 1927. Both system were electro-mechanical so they both needed moving parts to operate.

Farnsworth's next contribution to television was in 1929 when he showed off the world's first fully electronic television. This one had no moving parts and set the television industry in the direction it has moved until the present day.

When did the first TV come out?

Invention of the TelevisionJohn Logie Baird (August 13, 1888 - June 14, 1946) was a Scottish engineer and inventor of the world's first working television system in Hastings, England in 1923. An official blue plaque marks the house where this took place. Hastings Museum hold various pieces of related correspondence. A further demonstration subsequently took place in a department store, Selfridges, in London England, by Mr Baird himself. This took place in 1925. The system was successful enough to become commercialised, and the BBC began the world's first regular television broadcasts, using the Baird system, In 1927, Baird transmitted a long-distance television signal over 438 miles (705 km) of telephone line between London and Glasgow; Baird transmitted the world's first long-distance television pictures to the Central Hotel at Glasgow Central Station. He then set up the Baird Television Development Company Ltd, which in 1928 made the first transatlantic television transmission, from London to Hartsdale, New York. By 1939, there were over 20,000 TV sets in use in and around London. A year later, in 1940, baird demonstrated a set which was capable of receiving colour pictures and stereo sound!AnswerThe first concept of the television was a sketch done by a 14-year-old farm boy named Philo T. Farnsworth in 1922. On September 7, 1927, he finally created a television system that could not only display, but transmit signals between separate rooms. (see above) Here is additional input and links to sites of interest regarding the invention of the television:I believe it was in 1954 that the first television was completed and released for consumer use. (See above)I'm not sure exactly when it was invented, but the first large amount of people to see it was at the 1934 World's Fair. (See above)Research Filo T Farnsworth. That should give you plenty of information.Approximately 75 years ago (7 September, 1927) twenty-one-year-old Philo T Farnsworth performed the first successful demonstration of an all-electronic television system in his laboratory at 202 Green Street in San Francisco, USA.See the Related Link for "Timeline Television" to the bottom for the answer.http://www.1066.net/baird/http://www.tvhistory.tv/http://www.videouniversity.com/farnhal.htmhttp://inventors.about.com/library/inventors/bl_television_timeline.htmhttp://www.physlink.com/Education/AskExperts/ae408.cfmhttp://www.farnovision.com/chronicles/tfc-who_invented_what.HTMLhttp://www.pubquizhelp.34sp.com/hist/invent.HTMLgo to wikipidia and you will find alot of answers there! The first fully electronic television was demonstrated in 1929 by Philo Farnsworth. Previous television technologies had used rotating discs or drums to generate an image including Farnsworth's initial television demonstrations in 1927. Although Farnsworth opened the way forward for television, it is interesting to note that the BBC began public television broadcasts using John Logie Baird's electro-mechanical system in 1929, the same year that Farnsworth shoed his electronic system.

Who was the original inventor of telavision and when was it product?

That was Philo T. Farnsworth, an Idaho 15-year-old farmboy. He saw his dad plowing the potato fields back and forth, back and forth and so on, and it sparked an idea. He presented his idea to his high school science teacher, who encouraged Philo to perfect his . . . invention. His earliest television used a scheme of moving an electron beam back and forth, back and forth, down the screen, thus 'painting' a glowing picture. Even today, CRT television sets use the same scheme. Farnsworth, I believe in 1928 or 1929, had produced the first televisions for sale to the public. Of course, there was no cable, so they picked up the very first TV stations with a little antenna. Turns out that Philo was a little like Thomas Edison . . . he went on to invent more electronic devices, and retired with 70-some patents to his name. Others popularized televisions in the early 1930s by creating more TV stations, and even TV networks. These people claim to have invented TV, but they were lying.

What year was the tv made?

There is continued discussion about the development of television. Here is a brief timeline of the major milestones than began television. 1925 John Logie Baird demonstrated the first moving pictures sent electronically using an electro-mechanical system. 1927 Philo Farnsworth demonstrated his television system, also an electro-mechanical system 1929 John Logie Baird's system was used by the BBC in London for the first television broadcasts. Televisions were available for sale to the public in England. 1929 Philo Farnsworth demonstrated the first fully electronic system that did not use moving parts. 1934 British television moved to a fully electronic system, so making the Baird system redundant. 1939 - RCA began production of televisions sets in the US for sale to the public. All of the dates are significant and all can be considered the year that TV was made. Whichever date is picked, it is also clear that the efforts of Baird and Farnsworth along with several of their predecessors were instrumental in the start of the television industry that we see today.
