Elizabeth the First was crowned Queen of England on the 15th Jan 1558

Elizabeth the second (the current queen of England) was crowned on the second of June 1953. (she first ascended to the throne apon the death of her father on the 6th of February 1952)

Queen Elizabeth 1st ruled from 1558 (the year that her sister Mary Tudor died) up until her death in 1603, when she was replaced by King James 1st of Scotland who was her cousin.

The present Queen, Elizabeth 2nd, took the throne in 1952 following the death of her father George VI of lung cancer. She was crowned the following year, and has been England's monarch ever since.
