well i was watching top model yesterday and twiggy was a guest judge and one of the contestants got their hair off and started crying and twiggy said that she cut her hair off short and that's when people noticed her and that's how she became popular.

∙ 15y agoTyra Banks became a model by going to various different modeling agencies in her hometown. She was tall and skinny with beautiful eyes and a bid forehead which are good qualities to have as a model. Her personality shined from others so she was picked to do catalogs and other print work. From there she was noticed and then she was signed by I think Elite model management and was shipped of to Paris where her big modeling career began. She was about 17 years old when she went to Paris and now she is a huge star!
