It broke in the summer of 2002
The islands located approximately 740 miles northeast of the Larsen Ice Shelf are the South Shetland Islands, which are part of Antarctica. This archipelago includes notable islands such as King George Island and Deception Island. The South Shetland Islands are situated off the northern coast of the Antarctic Peninsula and are known for their diverse wildlife and scientific research stations.

The Ross Ice Shelf -- as large as France, is one, and another is the Ronne Larsen Ice Shelf.
The Larsen ice crack may lead to the destabilization of the Antarctic ice shelf, potentially causing it to break apart or collapse. This could contribute to rising sea levels and have significant consequences for global climate patterns.
Some notable ice shelves in Antarctica include the Ross Ice Shelf, the Filchner Ice Shelf, and the Larsen Ice Shelf. The Ross Ice Shelf is the largest, while the Larsen Ice Shelf is known for its significant ice loss in recent years. Other examples include the Amery Ice Shelf and the Ronne Ice Shelf. These ice shelves play a crucial role in stabilizing the Antarctic ice sheets.

You can pick any two you want. From the Wikipedia entry: here is a list of the ice shelves, listed clockwise, starting in the West of East Antarctica. During 31 January 2002-7 March 2002 the Larsen B ice shelf in Antarctica collapsed and broke up, 3,250 km² of ice 220 m thick disintegrated in a single season. Glaciologists were surprised at the speed of the collapse, which they attributed to warm ocean currents melting under the shelf, and also ponds of meltwater on the surface of the shelf. This water melted during the 24 hours of daylight and worked down through cracks and fissures in the ice, acting like wedges to separate the shelf from the mainland. The Larsen B ice shelf has been stable for more than 12 000 years.
B-15 - The largest iceberg recorded, measuring around 11,000 square kilometers. A-68 - Another massive iceberg that split from the Larsen C Ice Shelf in 2017. C-19 - A large iceberg that broke off the Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica. A-74 - A massive iceberg that calved from the Brunt Ice Shelf in 2021. C-16 - An iceberg that broke off the Pine Island Glacier Ice Shelf in Antarctica. D-16 - A large iceberg that calved from the Amery Ice Shelf in Antarctica. B-22 - An iceberg that broke off the Larsen Ice Shelf in Antarctica. A-45 - A large iceberg that calved from the Amery Ice Shelf. C-18 - An iceberg that broke off the Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica. A-22 - An iceberg that split from the Larsen Ice Shelf.
Accumulation of snow on an ice shelf can cause the ice shelf to grow in size and thickness over time. This can increase the weight of the ice shelf and potentially lead to calving events, where pieces of the ice shelf break off into the ocean as icebergs.
The Ross Ice Shelf -- about the size of France -- floats on ocean water and is roiled by wave action. This may cause cracks.
Icebergs form when chunks or slabs of ice break off of a glacier. They can also form when chunks of ice break free from an ice shelf.
The Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica hasn't melted . . . yet.
