You need to trade a Scyther with a friend. Your Scyther must be holding a Metal Coat. Here's how you get it: First go to island 5 and find your way to the memorial pillar. You need to surf and once you find the memorial pillar go to the right of the island and go down and it is laying there by the shore.
It powers up the user's Bug-type moves when the Hp Bar is 1/3 or less. In Gen. III and Gen. IV, 12 Pokemon have this ability: Beedrill Scyther Ledyba Ledian Spinirak Ariados Scizor Heracross Beautifly Volbeat Kricketune Mothim
Yes, Scyther is a Pokémon. It's a dual Bug/Flying type, first introduced in Gen. 1 of Pokémon.

The significant Bug-Type moves are Mega Horn, X-Scissor, and Bug Bite. Bug Buzz, Silver Wind, and Signal Beam are useful Special moves. U-Turn is a unique Physical move, since you usually switch Pokemon before the foe can attack. With U-Turn, the foe with higher Speed can attack first, then the Pokemon that you next send out using U-Turn won't be harmed.
Scyther does not evolve at any specific level. If you want to evolve your Scyther into Scizor, you need an item. That item is the "Metal Coat." You can find it in Mt. Coronet, on the way to Celestic Town. If you give the item to Scyther and then trade him, he'll evolve into Scizor. You might want to train Scyther up to Lv. 27 at least because that's when he learns Fury Cutter. And then evolve it. I know this because, 1, I watch a lot of Youtube training vids. And 2, me and my cousin were in my basement training our Pokemon. I was training my Buizel and he was training his Scyther, he found a metal coat and traded his Scyther to me and it evolved. :)
1.have a sciyther 2. get a metal coat 3.make sciyther hold it 4. trade 5.trade back just catch a scyther at route 229 if u have diamond and get a metal coat from sttelix magneton or bronzor etc. or the best way is 2 go 2 iron island and go to the house the steel gym leader dude is there and he gives u it (only if u beat elite four) and then trade with a friend and get it back

False Swipe is a Normal type Pokemon move that will always leave at least 1 HP on the Pokemon it is used on. It did not become a TM until the fourth generation of Pokemon games. In Pokemon Ruby, the following Pokemon learn False Swipe naturally: Farfetched, Cubone, Marowak, Scyther, Scizor, Grovyle, Sceptile, Nincada, Ninjask, Shedinja, and Zangoose.

You just need a lot of patience, keep looking for it. There is a 1/8192 chance of finding one.
Unfortunately, Scyther is only available in FireRed version through the Celadon City Game Corner or in the Safari Zone in the Entrance and Area 1, so the only way to get one in LeafGreen is to trade with a person that has one.
