You would have to contact the magazine itself to find that information out. If they are not holding open castings then chances are it's because they use modeling agencies to find the models they need.

Sadly, I doubt it will come out. Kirsten, like Samantha, will be going into the archieves, which means you won't be able to buy the doll or her clothes, just the books. Shame, I was looking forward to a Singing Bird doll.
