To go for a ralicanth before I tell you be sure to bring a ghost type Pokemon. Not that you will need one but it's best to bring one.
The exact were abouts of a relacanth are located in the middle of the resort and survival area.
The way I go is from the resort area then go through the grass around the two ace trainers.
Then go through the sand storm. Go strait turn at the bike ramp the turn strait again. Go down the bike ramp and go up the next bike ramp. Then go out through to the next route.
Now you need to surf you can surf by beating the hearthome gym after beating the veilstone and pastoria gyms beating your rival an following the galactic grunt 5 times and beating him. Going to the lake and getting the secreat posion and using it on the psyduck. Going to celstic town beating the grunt then going to the celestic town ruins but ofcourse you probably know that.
Now surf past that house were that werd guy who wants to give you a magicharp is. Then go to the land path that you can only get to by Surfing. Go on that land than go back on water than move up once.
Now you use the super rood which you can get in the fight area by passing those guys and talking to the fishermen and to get past those guys you have to get the national dex. To get that you need to see all 150 Pokemon on the sinnoh dex but again you probably know that. Anyways now fish from 2 to 7 times to claim your relacanth if you havent tell me again.
