I have seen somewhere that the postscript in Kensuke's Kingdom is not true.
In "Kensuke's Kingdom" by Michael Morpurgo, Michael makes a fire by gathering dry leaves and wood, then using a magnifying glass to focus sunlight onto the tinder. This method sparks a flame, which he nurtures by adding larger pieces of wood. The fire not only provides warmth and light but also serves as a signal for rescue. Michael's resourcefulness and determination are key themes in his survival on the deserted island.

Yes and No. Yes because after the second world war a Japanese man got left behind on an island. He stayed there and didn't go back because he thought the war wasn't gone yet. People do sail around the world in a yacht. Orangutans are being slaughtered by hunters who want to kidnap their babies and sell them. Newly hatched turtles do have to make a run for it from the beach into the sea. No because he takes truths and weaves them into fiction.
Michael Morpurgo says a novel takes him about six months from start to finish. He said he works out the story in his head first and this takes at least a couple of months. After that, he starts the actual writing which takes him 2 to 3 months. Then, it normally takes him up to a month to make any needed revisions.
The animal kingdom does not make it own food. There is really no animals that make food
it is about a wee lass called Cherry and she wants to make a giant necklace out of a fishing line and pink shells she has found on the beach. it is the last day of her holidays so she only has one day left to finnish her massive necklace when she is on the beach alone the tide comes in . SHE IS TRAPPED..............!
The bacteria kingdom, the protists kingdom, the plant kingdom, and the fungi (fungus) kingdom make their own food. While us (Animalia) don't.
Well, darling, I'm not Michael Morpurgo's personal shopper, but if I had to take a wild guess, I'd say his favorite color is probably not a boring beige. Maybe he's into something bold like red to match the fiery passion in his writing. But hey, who knows, he might surprise us all and be a secret fan of neon pink!
