Ron rejoins Harry and Hermione when he discovers the hidden powers of the deluminator that Dumbledore left to Ron in his will. the deluminator leads Ron to the places at witch Harry and Hermione are staying. however, Ron cant get to Harry and Hermione because of the enchantments set around their camping site. Ron only rejoins harry and Hermione when Harry follows a potronas outside of the campsite charms. Ron saves harry from drowning in a pool. Ron also destroys a horcrux. the locket of salazar slytherin. Ron then rejoins Harry and Hermione in the quest for the following horcruxes.

Technically they don't.

Ginny kisses Harry on his birthday and that's it. He does obsess over her for a bit throughout the book but that's it. They are married with three children in the epilouge.
