Lara croft is an archeaologyst on an adventure to find her mother (Amelia croft) who was mysteriasly teleported into Avalon (current home of King Aurthor). But in 2008 (Underworld release) Lara found the truth about Amelia. Square Enix and Eidos are currently making tombraider 10. This is about Lara croft being trapped on an old Japanese island without a map, she is a younger Lara though so her mother, has not yet been found

The second Tomb Raider game was released in 1997 and was called Tomb Raider II: The Dagger of Xian.

The story was that Lara Croft was in pursuit of an artifact called the Dagger of Xian which, if plunged into the heart of a true believer, gave them powers and turned them into a dragon but there was another man named Marco Bartoli with some devoted followers who were trying to get it first.

The game surpassed the sales of the first game and was a huge success.

It would be about 5-10 dollars at any good game store.
