Summarize the tall woman by Pedro Antonio de alarcon?

The main character, Gabriel, recounts a tale of terror to his friend. He tells his friend of the reoccurring appearance of an apparently evil woman. A grotesque, old, tall woman, dressed in red, appears to him and intimidates him ruthlessly. With each appearance, one of Gabriel's loved one dies. Gabriel doesn't expect anyone to believe him. Time passes and Gabriel becomes ill and dies. At the funeral, Gabriel's friend sees the old woman who behaves sadistically towards Gabriel's corpse. She then turns to Gabriel's friend, and seemingly knows that Gabriel has told him all about her. It is hinted that he may suffer the same curse. It is also hinted that because of his cowardice to stop or confront the old woman, it has somehow saved him. It is a wonderfully constructed story that explores fear, and uses an unlikely monster in a terrifyingly effective way.
