When will the Japanese dub of My Little Pony friendship is magic come?

Yes they will be making new episodes. Season 3 has been confirmed; revealed by the voice actress for princess celestia on an interview. Many 20-25 year old males as well as little girls enjoy this show so, i expect it to be around for a very long time. :D

From what little I understand about the Japanese side of this equation is that it would be very hard for the show to even be given airtime over in Japan. Many companies would rather remake the show than work with re-dubbing it in Japanese and then contending to give it airtime. Case in point, Powerpuff Girls and Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z.

Now there is a flip-side to this, the brony fandom is immense and overlaps several other fandoms to include the anime fandom. If you are seeking a Japanese dub, then collaborate with the many American/Canadian bronies who have decided to translate some of the show into Japanese and attempted their own dubbings. There is an immense amount of talent in the fandom and I am certain that there are many would-be Japanese voice actors/actresses who would be willing to attempt just such a thing.

To date, there is no word on its cancellation. There will be a season 5 starting in spring 2015, and it is known known if there will be a season 6. Two movies have also been announced, the later of which will premiere some time in 2017.
