Faraway place is not a place you can get to in Pokemon Pearl. If you have a Pokemon that was caught in Faraway Place, it means it was caught in Pokemon Platinum in a location that doesn't exist in Diamond and Pearl (like the Distortion World), or caught in Heart Gold or Soul Silver. Any Pokemon caught in those games will say it is from Faraway Place.
