If you are looking for a Hermione Granger monologue, I've got one right here that I used for my LAMDA Grade 5 Acting exam:

Hermione Granger

From 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'

By J.K. Rowling; adapted by Flora B. Harper

HERMIONE: Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one.

(BOTH: No, sorry.)

Oh! Are you doing magic? Let's see then.

(RON: Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow,

Turn this stupid, fat rat yellow.)

Are you sure that's a real spell? Well, it's not very good, is it? I've tried a few simple spells just for practice and it's all worked for me. Nobody in my family's magic at all, it was ever such a surprise when I got my letter, but I was ever so pleased, of course- I mean, it's the very best school of witchcraft there is, I've heard. I've learnt all our set books off by heart, of course, I just hope it'll be enough... I'm Hermione Granger, by the way, who are you?

(RON: Ron Weasley.)

(HARRY: Harry Potter.)

Good gracious, are you really? Harry Potter? I know all about you, of course- I got a few extra books for background reading, and you're in Modern Magical History and The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts and Great Wizarding Events of the Twentieth Century.

(HARRY: Am I?)

Goodness, didn't you know? I'd have found out everything I could if it was me. Do either of you know what house you'll be in? I've been asking around and I hope I'm Gryffindor, it sounds by far the best, I hear Dumbledore himself was one, but I suppose Ravenclaw wouldn't be too bad... Anyway, I'd better go and look for Neville's toad. You two had better change into your robes, I expect we'll be arriving soon.

(RON: How do you know?)

I've just been up the front to ask the driver and he says we're nearly there. You've got dirt on your nose, by the way. Did you know? Just there.

If you're not looking for Hermione, there are plenty of other speeches from a huge variety of characters, not so much in the films, but certainly in the books, that you can use straight off the page or adapt slightly if needed.

Hope this helps!

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has been adapted for the stage on more than one occasion. If you can find printed editions of these adaptions you may find a monologue in one of them.

I am not aware as to whether there are screen plays available for the film adaptations of the books, but again, if you can find one, you might find a monologue.

The other thing you could do is to write one yourself, using the original books as your source material - for example, in the first book, Alice spends a while thinking and talking to herself as she falls down the rabbit hole - this scene may well lend itself to an adaptation.

Please follow the links below to see two different adaptations of Alice for the stage

Monologues for kids can be found on most acting school websites. Local public libraries carry books with monologues. Many casting agents also provide monologues on their website.
