In Pokémon Mysery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, you will need to recruit Scyther first since you cannot find Scizor in any of the dungeons, you can find Scyther in dungeons such as Sinister Woods, Pitfall Valley and Joyous Tower and then you can take it to Luminous Cave and as long as you have a Metal Coat and a Link Cable with you in your possession then Scyther will evolve.
