Where are Ether in Pokemon platinum?

Ether can not be bought at the Pokemart and must be found using the Itemfinder (or guesswork). In order, here are the locations that Ether can be found: * On Route 109, go to the eastern part of the beach towards the elderly man. Go south from him, past two inflatable matresses. Two steps from the right of the third inflatable is the Ether. * On Route 113, on the first terrace, inside the small ash depression that's close to the pokeball item lying on the ground. * On Route 119, enter the water and surf north. At the end, there's a waterfall. Do not go past it. Instead, go to the east bank. There's a max ether there. * On Route 122, in the misty area, take the path until you get to a clump of grass which leads to a gravestone. The gravestone contains a max ether.

You cannot. Many of these pokémon can only be traded from FRLG. The only way to get it without trading is illegal stealing: E.G. the rare chance of finding it at the Battle Factory, then only by having an AR. I wouldn't recommend it, because it corrupts the game file.

you cant get ether's in the pokemart bu you can find them.they are all over the place. lie ih the old chateau. just go to the right side of the building then you will see pokeball
