I cannot remember what happens (already a year or so) and when you leave the tower, it collapses. The other fossil can be retrieved from the end of the cave in the digger's house (the place you get TM dig). The fossil is at the very end of the cave. FYI that cave has: whismur, loudred and ditto (lvl 32-40 most likely)
