Unfortuantly, Sonic Undergroud was canceled. It's been years...I don't think they'll start a new season, much less make a new gen sonic underground.

Why was Sonic Underground cancelled?
Most people didn't like Sonic Underground so they cancelled it. Personaly, I liked Sonic Underground and still watch episodes on youtube. It is a shame they cancelled it. Because of this, Manic, Sonia, and Sonic never meet up with their mother, defeat Dr. Robotnick, or fulfill the prophosy.
