Percy after having his first adventure, went back to New York to live with his newly single mom Sally Jackson. Percy got accepted to Meriwhether Prep a school for teens with learning disabilities (like Percy with dyslexia). Tyson was a student there on scholarship by the schools Charity Program for Homeless Teen (Tyson was homeless, he lives in a refrigerator box on 5th ave.)... Eventually Percy met Tyson since he was always defending him from the other school bullies.
