Where did Walt Disney start his animation company?

After the successful production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, Mr Disney became a Hollywood figure. His dream of a theme park came to fruition in 1955 with the building of the amusement park, Disney land Park. He continued to increase in fame as he promoted his movies and parks with imagnation, optimism, creation, and self-made success.

According to my book on the history of Disney in 1919 Disney and a man named "Ub" Iwerks acquired desk space at the offices of a publication called Restaurant News, but soon Disney went to work at a company called Kansas City Slide Company. This company was making commercials for local movie theaters and producing crude animated films. He got the job at 40.00 a week and Iweks stayed working at the business they had started, but in a few month he joined Disney. The Cartoons produced by the Kansas City Film Ad ( the company's new name) was stop action Photography of jointed cardboard figures. At just 18 years old Disney and Iwerks got the training they needed and before long they borrowed a camera and tried doing this. The result was a little reel of topical gags that he managed to sell to the Newman Theater and the shorts for the Newman Theater were called Laugh-o-Grams. Disney managed to raise enough money to start his company keeping the Laugh-o-Gram name and made 6 updated fairy tales short cartoons. By 1927 Disney move to LA and was married. He began to produce a new series called the adventures of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Mickey Mouse was born in 1928 and came from the collaborative efforts of Disney and UB Iwerks.
