In Pokemon FireRed how do you get a kabutops?
First of all you need to have picked the dome fossil in mt moon, if you didn't get it get a kabuto from another firered or leafgreen, if you did bring the dome fossil to cinnibar island and go to the research lab go to the far right room and speak to the scientist near the machine he will take your dome fossil and then go outside of the lab then come back in and talk to the lab guy again and he will give you a kabuto. Now train kabuto to level 40 and it will evolve to kabutops.
I have seen 149 pokemon and want to see the 150th. I chose Omanyte instead of Kabuto and so I've seen Kabuto Omanyte and Omastar. I'm talking LeafGreen. Where is Kabutops I'm talking LeafGreen?
The only way to see or obtain a Kabutops is through trade in your instance. Perhaps someone will trade you a Kabuto or Kabutops if it's a Kabuto you will need to train it to level 40 for it to evolve to Kabutops.

Kabutops is in the upper portion of the sky temple. To reach it, you must use your Mewtwo to beam you up to a secret level of the sky temple. Once you have done this, you will see a sign. Walk towards the sign, and a wild Kabutops will appear. If you do not have a Mewtwo to beam you up, you will not be able to battle the Kabutops. Best of Luck!
