Where do the lake Pokemon hide after they dissappear?

Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf can each be found in the caverns in the center of their respective lakes as encounterable wild Pokémon after defeating Team Galactic at Mt. Coronet.

Uxie: Acuity Cavern

Mesprit: Verity Cavern

Azelf: Valor Cavern

It is suggested that you bring a level 50+ tanking Pokémon (preferably of the ghost type) with very high Sp. Defense, a low level Pokémon with the move Endeavor (Staravia works well for this), a Pokémon with a high Speed or Sp. Defense capable of applying Paralysis (Thunder Wave), and a Pokémon of at least level 30 with the move False Swipe (Scyther). Purchase around 50 Dusk Balls (no less than 32, as it will take an average of 16 to catch Uxie and Azelf). After capturing those, restock up to 20-30 before engaging Mesprit, at night (8pm-4am). Buy as much Moomoo Milk as you can from the house north of Solaceon Town.

My suggestion for capturing the legendaries:

1. SAVE before engaging with any of them.
2. Apply the Paralyzed condition asap.
3. Switch to your tanking Pokemon and wait for the Legendary to use Future Sight, then one turn after that:
4. Switch to the pokémon with Endeavor and use Endeavor
5. Switch to the pokémon with False Swipe and use it until the Legendary drops to 1 hp
6. Switch to the tank and start throwing Dusk Balls, using Moomoo Milk when necesary

Unlike the other two, Mesprit flies off after the encounter and becomes a Roaming Pokémon that must be tracked via the "Marking Map" Pokétch app given by the president of the Pokétch Company.

Each guardian requires a Pokémon with (HM03) Surf in the party to reach the cavern in the center of the lake. Uxie, residing in Acuity Cavern at the northern end of the map, requires (HM08) Rock Climb as well.
