Mary and Oak's pokegear channel which tells where swarms of rare Pokemon are sometimes says in the breaking news that marill can be found at mt mortar. Otherwise the chance of finding them is almost the same as mr Pokemon and professor elm getting together

∙ 10y agoI don't have heart gold but marill is in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, and in Gold and Silver (the original and new ones ). Marill isn't a difficult Pokemon to catch. Just lower its hp (health points) and if its a tougher one put a stat on it (sleep, paralsis, burn, poison, and frozen) only use burn and poison when it hp is on green or beginning yellow for if you do this while its hp is low you might make it faint.
Marill is in the shinoa regin so thru trade
Marill is found in Mt Mortar.

∙ 12y agoI don't think you can get a MARILL in soul silver version.
Well you might not be able to without cheats or trading.
You can breed Two marills on Platinum, send the egg to Soul Silver and hatch it in the water (makes it more friendly and will evolve easier)Send it Back to Platinum, put it in the Day-care and cycle non-stop (2-steps=1 EXP point) and it will evolve around level 32 to level 48, most likely at level 38 then send it back to Soul Silver.
