go to the trophy garden place talk to the rich dude then he will tell u a story about pokemons appearing in the garden.if u don't want that Pokemon then turn the ds off then turn it on and then talk to him again

1. trade with a friend over Nintendo wfc (catch)

2. trainer on route 210 has happiny. ( see)

3. have national dex then go to trophy garden on route 212. (catch)

You will get a Happiny Egg by talking to the hiker at the southeast entrance to Hearthome City. You must have room in your party to receive the egg. This occurs only in Diamond/Pearl, but no in Platinum. You can try talking to Mr.Backlot on route 212 when he tell's a story of encountering a specific pokemon, however you should restart the game until you hear of Happiny in Mr.Backlot's conversation..then the butler will proceed to exit and there's going to be a Happiny in the Trophy Garden.
