Wild Bronzor has a 5% percentage of holding a metalcoat. You can also get a metal coat after you get the national dex and then go inside the empty house in iron island to meet Byron (Canalave Gym Leader) nd he'll give you on and leave the house

you go down to the bottom of the iron island cave and then go into the cave part at the bottom that has a black hole not a white because the white is an opening to the outside go into that black hole door and then there should be a pokeball in the middle of the room and it holds the the metal coat!!!!!

There are several ways to acquire a Metal Coat.

One is that they are held by wild Magnemite. Each one has an 8% chance of holding one. Magnemite can be found on Routes 6, 11, 38, and 39. They all have an encounter rate of 20% and can be found all day.

Another way is findng the gentleman's granddaughter aboard the S.S. Aqua. He'll give the item to you.

The last method is to trade a Dugtrio to Forest at the Power Plant. He'll trade a Magneton which is holding a Metal Coat.
