you cant catch it. but there is one way. the pokewalker. if you have the suber something route, you will see an elekid eventually. but i tell you, its really rare. mostly it comes out to be murkrow.
you can get one on the suburban area route on the pokewalker. you need 500 watts to unlock it and you need to take 5,000-8,999 steps for an elekid to appear. It is REALLY rare so it will take a while and the Pokemon that appear are apparantly random so you have to keep sending your Pokemon back and using the pokeradar until you find one.

∙ 13y agoThere are two ways to obtain elekid in soul silver, either you can make a trade, if not you can also breed Electrabuzz. Either two electrabuzz of different genders, or one ditto, and one electrabuzz of different gender. I think Electravire will work too.
