You need to surf downwards from some island(I don't remember which island but I think it was the one on which you find a forest towards the north,probably 5,6 or7 island).There you will see a stone statue of onix.A guy will be standing next to it.Talk to him and he will ask you for something(probably a lemon soda or something).Give it to him and talk to him.He will give you a metal coat.
