well you have to have 7 gym badges and have garitina (sorry cant spell) then visit the professor or he might come to you i forgot which one but then he will say the pokemon of the lake have returned home then go to the lakes and surf to the middle of the lake and there is a cave and it holds one of the lake pokemon talk to it it might run or it may battle so save before you battle but mespirt will run no matter what and the the professor will tell you stuff to do to get it. (mespirt is in the lake closest to your home)
